Tackling the Attainment Gap in Schools Digital Conference

Join Westminster Insight’s event to explore the Government’s pandemic responses including financial support, national tutoring schemes and technology provision to disadvantaged pupils.

NFER’s Chief Social Scientist, Angela Donkin, will draw upon NFER’s recent research, including ‘Recovery during a pandemic’ and ‘Impact of schools closures’, to present on a panel entitled ‘Recover, Reform and Re-building a School System which Endorses and Inclusive Educational System Post Pandemic’. This panel will look at some of the root causes of the attainment gap as well as looking at future opportunities for creating a more equitable system.
