Covid-19 plunged the UK’s education system into a period of uncertainty as school closures interrupted key learning and exam cancellations cast doubt on students’ futures. As a result of this, early research pointed towards a deepening of the attainment gap and severe disruption to school curriculums. At 14:05, Dr Ben Styles, NFER’s Head of Education Trials Unit, will be on the panel discussion ‘Leading Schools and Academies Through Covid-19 to Turn the Tide on the Attainment Gap’.
